Circle Oil Plc (AIM: COP), is an Irish incorporated Middle East and Africa focused oil and gas exploration and production Company with a portfolio of assets in Morocco, Tunisia, Oman and Egypt, with a combination of low-risk near-term production and significant exploration upside potential.The Company's shares were listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange October 2004.

Circle Oil has continued to expand and consolidate its portfolio across North Africa and the Middle East from its foundation. At present Circle has two permits in the Rharb Basin, Morocco; the RasMarmour Permit in southern Tunisia; the Mahdia Permit offshore Tunisia; the Grombalia Permit in northern Tunisia and the Zeit Bay area of Egypt. In Oman present assets include the highly prospective Block 52 offshore, in addition to the onshore Block 49. Circle also maintains the largest licence holding of any company in Oman.

The Company is incorporated in the Republic of Ireland and retains it's registered office in Limerick, Republic of Ireland, with a robust technical services team centred in Berkshire, United Kingdom. These are complemented by the company’s Middle East and North African regional offices, Circle’s country offices in Egypt, Morocco, Oman and Tunisia.
